The new Uncle Scrooge 397 includes the Ducktales comic “A Dolt From The Blue” (D92208, 2 pages). This story was originally published in Walt Disney’s Comics 618.

American Disney licensee Boom!, who has focused mainly on modern Italian material so far, intends to present more classic Disney comics in its flagship titles Walt Disney’s Comics and Mickey Mouse starting in January 2011.

Walt Disney’s Comics 715 will feature an unpublished cover by William Van Horn which was originally intended for WDC 700 by Gemstone Publishing. Part of the print run will sport a variant cover by Daan Jippes.

Let’s hope that the issues to follow will finally make Bill’s newer stories available to the American public!

Bill’s comic “The Heat Of The Moment” (D2008-122, 9 pages) is being prepared for publication in Europe now. Donald and Mr. Jones join a contest as emission inspectors …

After taking several months off to pursue his own projects, Bill has now returned to his Disney work.

Currently he is finishing the art of “Coff It Up” (D2008-349), a ten-pager featuring Donald and Mr. Jones.
