Donald, who unexpectedly has a lucky streak, bets Uncle Scrooge 5 million dollars that his top hat will be stepped on by elephant within fifteen minutes. Since no pachyderm is hiding in the money bin Scrooge accepts the bet. However, a puff from the fan blows the hat through the open window and an escaped elephant arrives just in time to make Donald’s unlikely prophecy come true. It breaks Scrooge’s heart, of course, that he has to part with his beloved money bills. To get his dollars back he proposes an equally unlikely bet to his nephew. If Donald manages to give away his prize within 30 minutes he will receive another 5 millions from his uncle. Donald agrees, but his lucky streak is over. Nobody wants to have the money bag and so Scrooge gets his millions back.
