Donald is working at a house cleaning service of his own. At last he receives an order from a wealthy man. In his undamped eagerness the poor sweeper not only gets his customer’s address wrong, he also mixes up the containers with the cleaning agent. Donald accidentally takes his nephews’ experimental liquid which will melt anything it touches. Donald “cleans” very thoroughly, turning the house into a heap of ruins. The true owner, however, is enthusiastic and doubles Donald’s fee – he had intended to tear the house down anyway.
Bill’s funny bird is gazing at the ruin. Three mosquitoes are prying around.
Bill also made a cover for this story (WDC 588).
