The Ducks want to buy a Christmas tree. When Donald sees the high prices, however, they decide to cut down a nice little tree on Old Saw-Tooth Mountain. Jones, too, is on his way with an ax. Unfortunately he chooses the same conifer as his neighbors. In their wild scuffle they destroy the tree. This triggers a remorseless private war in the course of which all usable Christmas trees get demolished.
Woimly Filcher debuts in Van Horn’s third winter story.
Three little birds are watching the tree hunters.
