Donald accidentally throws his snow shovel at infamous attorney Wanda Sue Buckgrab’s head. She announces to sue the hapless duck for twenty million dollars. To prevent more trouble Donald borrows a snow-melting ray gun from Gyro Gearlooose. When Wanda Sue returns she tries to take the dangerous device away from Donald. During their skirmish the trigger gets stuck, causing a huge flood in Duckburg. Hence the mayor sues the lawyer who now does not have time to pursue her case against Donald.
