Donald loses miserably since he does not know that his rival, Dash Dustoff, had once been an Olympic champ at marathon. The loser demands revenge which is to take place in two weeks. This time Donald practices with great ambition and bets his nephews a month of washing up. Huey, Dewey and Louie sabotage their uncle’s run, the old man wins again.
