Donald Duck: Just A Humble, Bumbling Duck
start panel
Storycode: KD3690 · Pages: 12

When 37 of his applications are turned down within a week, Donald seeks advice from a brain-o-gram. The doctor reasons that only the lowliest jobs at the low would be appropriate for the work-seeking duck. Then Donald is employed as a valve ogler third class, an apprentice crumb wiper fifth class and a tree watcher. He is so successful at his lowly jobs that he is promoted the very same day. Donald turns this down, however, he prefers to stay just a humble, bumbling duck.

Three little birds and seven flying insects are watching with compassion.

Bill also made a cover for this story (DDAD 13).
