Huey, Dewey and Louie participate in the Junior Woodchucks dune boarding trial. Neither the kids nor the commander can keep Donald from practising this dangerous sport, too. The untrained uncle had better listened to the warnings, because it is by no means easy to keep clear of the craters, dust devils and cacti. When Donald has to be pulled out of quicksand, however, he understands and walks on foot. But a passing-by captive balloon accidentally drags him into the air by its hook rope. Donald now goes into an impressive gliding flight – up to an ungentle landing on the commander’s back.
Five mosquitoes are buzzing through the desert. Bill’s funny bird has to brake hardly to avoid hitting daredevil Donald.
