Donald is awarded a medal for valor by the mayor of Duckburg because he supposedly has rescued Daisy from going down a waterfall. While Daisy’s report shows Donald as a real hero, Gladstone’s version is quite the contrary. From Huey, Dewey and Louie’s view it is clear that the three nephews were Daisy’s true rescuers. When Uncle Rumpus explains that he lamented the lost picnic basket more than he was glad about Daisy’s rescue, Donald receives another medal the next day. This time for rescuing Rumpus from Daisy.

39 hornets are the real reason for Donald’s dangerous situation.
