Daisy cannot accompany Donald on the annual winter-walk because she has to stay in bed with a cold. Female company is obligatory, so Donald suggests to his sick girlfriend to walk with Gloria De Lovely. Daisy, who knows that Gloria has yearned for Donald, chooses her somewhat robust cousin Teensy Whiffle as Donald’s partner instead. When the walk begins, apart from Gloria also Woimly Filcher arrives. Gloria keeps trying to flirt with Donald, but each time Teensy gets in the way. It is only when Woimly and Teensy start to flirt that Gloria and Donald take off – in a huge snowball which crashes splashingly through the ice cover of the lake.
