Donald works as a delivery boy for a pie baker. However, this job turns out to be more difficult than expected for an eternal jinx. After some false deliveries and unintentional pie fights Donald has to deliver a cream pie to a distant address. On his way he has to fight against dogs, ants and pie haters. When Donald finally knocks at his customer’s door, he sees to his amazement that it is cousin Gladstone who opens the door. With pleasure the lucky guy presses the pie into Donald’s face. In return the raving delivery boy runs amok.

Ten flying insects are attracted by the odor of the cream pie. The funny bird is hidden on the seventh page.

Bill also made a cover for this story (WDC 645).
