Donald cannot sleep because of a dripping faucet. So the plagued duck tries to mend the defective seal in the night. He does not succeed, but Huey, Dewey and Louie can talk their uncle into just turning off the water and waiting until morning. The next day Donald’s second attempt is even successful. The amateur plumber now gets the urge to check the other faucets, too. When he is through, men from the water department ask him to turn off the water because the pipes have to be flushed. Donald refuses, having checked all the faucets himself. However, the water pressure is so high that the faucets slide from the pipes. Within few minutes the Ducks’ house turns into a swimming pool. When a plumber finally has repaired the damage Donald cannot see water anymore, but after a shower it is dripping through the leaky roof.

The two flying insects and Bill’s funny bird stay dry.
