Scrooge has ordered two foolproof sailboats and wants to have these prototypes tested by real landlubbers. He sends his nephews on a sailing regatta to Keelcrunch Isle. Whoever puts his foot ashore first will even get the island! Donald is on the first sailboat with his nephews while Gladstone steers the other one. After some small obstacles a huge storm erupts. Near Keelcrunch Isle the hulls of the boats crash into each other. The impact catapults the five landlubbers ashore. Huey, Dewey and Louie are the first to land, thus becoming proud owners of Keelcrunch Isle.
