When fleeing through the woods, Bullets McNasty comes across Donald, the new trail guide. The duck thinks McNasty is his first customer and guides him through the wilderness. By chance Donald learns that his companion is an escaped convict. Wanting to collect the reward, he tries to overpower the sturdy fugitive. In the end they both crash directly into the cabin of the forest police. However, the smart guide does not receive a reward.
