Jones is annoyed. While he is working hard to beautify his garden, the Ducks’ property rather looks like waste land. After some accusations and malignities from his neighbor Donald vows revenge. He uses Gyro’s fast-growing seeds to turn Jones’s idyll into a thistly wood. When Donald’s neighbor strikes back by the same means, both gardens are ripe for the lumberjack. The Duckburg foundation for the promotion of blissful neighborliness, however, is delighted and awards the two squabblers 500 dollars for the greatest symbol of blissful neighborliness.

The mutual gardening enthusiasm also attracts seven funny birds and four mosquitoes.

Bill also made a cover for this story (WDC 612).
