Duckburg is suffering its worst heat wave since fifty years. When the Duckburg ice cube works advertise a job, Donald does not hesitate to apply for it. He gets the job and travels to the Arctic with Huey, Dewey and Louie to fetch a box of ice. But soon the Ducks realize that not everything is above board behind the scenes. After a furious snow-cat chase they manage to turn the bootlegger gang over to the police. And suddenly Donald finds the Duckburg heat less annoying.
