After a strong earthquake has hit Duckburg, tracks of a strange creature are sighted in the snow. Huey, Dewey and Louie manage to talk their uncle into looking for the odd being. Unfortunately, also a trophy hunter is on the trail, hoping to get another stuffed prey for his collection. At last the Ducks meet an old acquaintance. It is a fermi who accidentally strayed to the earth’s surface. After having disposed of the hunter, the Ducks join forces to help the fermi get to the top of the slippery hill where the entrance to the inside of the earth is situated.
A curious mosquito is flying around in Donald’s warm house.
In Van Horn’s seventh winter story we meet a fermi from Carl Barks’s story “Land Beneath The Ground” (US13).
