Donald is heavily fascinated by the Wild West. When he disgraces himself at a rodeo, he is cured of his craze. Now he takes on a job as a singing messenger in a clown’s costume which makes Huey, Dewey and Louie feel terribly embarrassed. But Donald gets a chance to rehabilitate himself when the cowboy Buck Bowlegg is attacked by an angry bull at the rodeo.

Bill’s funny bird is amazed at Donald’s clown’s costume. Seven flies are attracted by the mounts.

Bill also made a cover for this story (DDAD 2).
