A mysterious snowballer terrorizes Duckburg. He throws snowballs at harmless citizens and vanishes without a trace. Not even the mayor is spared of the insiduous attacks. Donald and his neighbor Jones are among the victims, too. Since the two enemies are suspicious of each other, they watch one another in the night. However, they are both hit by snowballs. After that the neighbors get together and catch a hooded figure. To their surprise it is Gyro Gearloose. The madcap inventor is hunting his flying snow cannon which has gone its own ways. With joined forces they track down the machine and Duckburg finally gets rid of its phantom snowballer.

In Bill’s fourteenth winter story the funny bird is sitting on a snow-covered wall. A mosquito is buzzing around in the Ducks’ warm house.
