Donald, who only received consolation prizes at all lotteries, finally hits the jackpot on the big money draw. However, the way to the lottery headquarters is filled with obstacles. Donald keeps losing the raffle ticket to his cousin Gladstone, to a steam roller and to a seagull. Finally he has to learn that the “big money” is more big than money.

Apart from five flying insects, also Bill’s funny bird can easily be identified in two panels.
