Donald Duck: Kid Stuff

Storycode: KJD003 · Pages: 12
Script: William Van Horn · Art: William Van Horn
U.S. publications: DDAD 16; WDC 673
Donald has a new job as a painter. Huey, Dewey and Louie would love to help, but their uncle won’t let them. Donald gets the order to paint a house and dashes off eagerly. He does not hear the warning that the house is haunted. However, the sulking nephews, who have overheard the talk with the customer, want to have a little revenge. So they play dirty tricks on their uncle, but when they realize that the old mansion is really haunted they panic. Donald stays cool and does a very neat job without believing in the spook.
This is William Van Horn’s second story featuring Donald Duck. Gladstone’s editor had turned it down, however. Some years later Bill redrew it for Disney Publications.
Bill has included two funny birds and seven flying insects.
Bill also made a cover for this story (WDC 673).
