John Lustig is not only a Disney writer. About ten years ago he launched his own comic project Last Kiss.

We are pleased to present this splendid strip in a German version now. Every Monday and Thursday a new episode will appear on our site. Translations are done by Peter Kowalewski, Constanze Maier, Richard Meyer and Gerd Syllwasschy.

John, many thanks for the great collaboration!

Walt Disney’s Comics 700 with the Van Horn story “Close-Ups” (D2007-075, 8 pages) is available now.

BOOM! presents the comic with Bill’s original lettering and the Egmont coloring. Very pleasant!

Egmont has cleared Bill’s story “The Stick-Up” (D2008-308, 8 pages) for publication now. Rumpus, who has to watch over Scrooge’s money bin, is bored stiff …

This is the first story with Rumpus McFowl in the leading role. The translation into German will be done by Gerd Syllwasschy.

American publisher BOOM! Studios has taken over the Disney comics license for North America. BOOM!’s monthly titles include Walt Disney’s Comics, Uncle Scrooge, Donald Duck & Friends and Mickey Mouse & Friends. They are mostly focused on modern Italian material, like Ultraheroes or Wizards of Mickey.

As Disney Comics Worldwide announces, WDC 700 will feature the WVH story “Close-Ups” (D2007-075, 8 pages). This is very nice to hear! Let’s hope it won’t stay a once-only exception.

Bill has finished the ink work on his new Donald Duck comic “From Dawn ’Til Dusk” (D2009-123 – 10 pages – script: Peter Kowalewski). He was so kind to send us photocopies of the finished pages as well as his pencil scribbles. We have added a scan of the start panel to the story entry.

With a little luck, the comic will be published in Europe in early 2010.
